Our Story
Co Founder Josh began by exploring algae as a scalable solution for sustainable biofuel. Through that work, he realised its natural ability to absorb carbon dioxide efficiently through photosynthesis.
Co Founder Andrew, with a background in aviation, recognised a gap much closer to home. In aircraft, air systems are heavily engineered to optimise performance and wellbeing. In residential environments, this standard simply doesn’t exist.
A biologically driven solution to a problem conventional air purification has ignored.
Opure was founded to bring that solution into the built environment by transforming how indoor air is managed, experienced, and valued.
