Removes CO2, Particles, and VOCs sustainably

Living Technology

OPURIUM

The design led air purifier that uses living microalgae to naturally reduce indoor carbon dioxide

Our mission is to design an air purifier that effectively removes both carbon dioxide and airborne pollutants while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Premium Design

Photosynthesis through living algae

Premium Materials

Real time monitoring

Wool Filter

Wool fibres capture PM2.5 through a combination of natural structure and subtle electrostatic properties. Their crimped, irregular form creates a dense network that physically traps fine particles as air passes through, while a slight natural charge helps attract and hold even smaller pollutants.

Living Spirulina

Living spirulina removes carbon dioxide through photosynthesis. When exposed to light, the algae absorbs CO2 from the surrounding air and, using energy from light, converts it into oxygen and biomass. In simple terms, it takes in carbon dioxide as a fuel source and transforms it into clean oxygen.

IoT Sensors

IoT sensors continuously measure indoor air by tracking real time CO2 levels within the space. As air moves through Opurium, the system compares incoming and outgoing CO2 concentrations, allowing it to quantify how much carbon dioxide is being removed.

Premium Materials

Opurium is made from high quality materials, including glass, walnut wood, and aluminium.

Air Purifier

Unique Design

The minimal form of Opurium stands apart from other air purifiers. Designed to compliment modern interiors rather than disturb them.
